Seven years, and counting...

Quit smoking on 4/16/02..woke up that morning, and decided it was going to be the last day of my former life.

22 years of 1.5 packs a day, and quit cold turkey. Never looked back. Really only had a few bad days in the immediate aftermath. Had I known it would be that easy, I would have quit long before I did.

Mind over matter. DECIDE to quit, and do not second-guess your decision. EVER. DECIDE and DO it. If I can quit, so can you!!

Great job, that's my advice too really, make a decision and go with it. I've quit for about 10 years now and did it the same way. Thanks for your advice.
