If You Are Struggling To Find Love, This May Be Of Help

If we wish to find true love we have only one hope, we ourselves must become what we desire. We cannot make others act in a certain way and we cannot create a situation through effort. As with all things we must work on ourselves, not our surroundings. A man or woman will attract to themselves what they are, not what they wish to be. Our only course of action here is to make ourselves more lovable. This is a considerable point to grasp.

Many factors count here, but simply put, nobody will love us until we love ourselves. Now this in itself is no small matter we are dealing with, self images of all kinds, self esteem, self worth, confidence and many more issues all figure into our ability to do this, an overall plan of personal development is needed if we are to succeed. We may also need to look at past experiences that might be holding us back. Sadly it is unlikely that we can solve this problem over night.

Here however is a great place to start. Lets look at the definitive definition of love and how we can use it to our advantage. It is taken from the New Testament of the Bible.

1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, nor is it puffed up; love does not behave rudely, nor does it seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoice in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things.

Hopefully you can see that none of the characteristics of love are a feeling, they are all choices of action. We choose to be patient, we choose to be kind and so on. This is fantastic news for us. Why? Because we can begin immediately demonstrating love toward ourselves regardless of our present self image or how we feel.

Make the choice to behave in this way towards yourself, this is a great act of self love. Do not believe that it is not ok to love yourself, it is and you must. It is not somebody else’s responsibility to give us this, it is our own, and we must serve ourselves by providing it.

Behave in this way towards yourself and others and you will have taken a massive step in the right direction.

Now if we combine these efforts with an overall program of self improvement we will pretty soon start to see the results we want. We will become, kinder, gentler and more caring and considerate. You intern will attract the same back and your chances of finding an incredible relationship that can last forever will have increased beyond measure.
